Award Winning Altitude platform gets even better

Latest Trinnov software 4.2.16.8 is now live adding four additional channels, expanding Home Cinema design options

In addition to bringing IMAX Enhanced features to the Altitude range, the latest software update 4.2.16.8, which is now live, adds four additional channels of decoding to both Altitude models.

This exciting development allow us to full individual control of 20 channels on the Altitude 16 processor, perfect for a 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos layout. Previously a 9.1.6 layout with 4 subwoofers would have required the more premium Altitude 32 processor, or off-board DSP processing for the 4 individual subwoofers.

In order to access the additional processing power, two additional stereo DACS are required, increasing the decoding options beyond the physical limits of the Altitude chassis.

The addition of IMAX Enhanced will allow our private cinemas designs to take advantage of the ever growing catalogue of IMAX Enhanced content being released, which builds upon DTS:X technology.
